After leaving Verizon Networks, he served as a chief operating officer at Barclays Bank. Along with his team, Shaygan played a critical role in facilitating the bank to make its first step to greatness through the development of Pingin Mobile software. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of Juniper Networks, where he played a fundamental role in creating operation plan that was designed to target Cloud Builder and High-IQ networking markets. Before his appointment as the CEO of Coriant, Shaygan was working closely with Coriant senior management team as operation partner of Marlin Equity Partners.

Coriant has won trust and admiration of international carriers that include China Unicom, TSIC, BSNL, and Australia’s NBN. However, the Coriant operates in a very competitive industry.
